Aadya
Aadi · The Beginning · The Primal Source of Energy
Aadya represents “Aadi”, meaning the beginning, the primal source of energy and creation. One of the sacred names of Maa Durga, derived from Aadya Shakti or Aadi Shakti, symbolizing strength, protection, and collective power. Today, that spirit powers everything Aadya does, from Durga Puja and Saraswati Puja to cultural programs and community service.
“Five years of community, culture, and service: a new name, yet the same love, the same passion, and the same community.”

Aadya, A Manteca Indians Initiative
Aadya (आद्या, the first, the very origin) is a community-driven collective, bound by one shared love: for culture, for tradition, and for service. Through Durga Puja, Saraswati Puja, cultural programs, and year-round community service, we weave culture, devotion, and giving back into a single thread. One community, one heartbeat.
Our mission reaches far beyond the festival lights. Guided by the timeless spirit of वसुधैव कुटुम्बकम् (the world is one family), we strive to build a connected, inclusive community, one that wears its heritage with pride and gives back to society with an open heart.

Service & Community
Giving Back to the Community
Giving back is one of Aadya's core initiatives, a year-round commitment to serving Manteca and the Central Valley through donation drives, book donations, and community service.

Animal Shelter Donation
Our members visited Manteca Animal Services with a donation to support the care of shelter animals, representing a small gesture of compassion from the Aadya family.

School Supplies & Book Donation
Books, toys, and school supplies collected and donated to local students, spreading the joy of learning to children across Manteca.

Education Sponsorship Drive
Through Durga Puja 2025, Aadya sponsored a full year of education for two children, Sayentika and Teesta, in partnership with the Bharat Globe Vision Society.
